OCPP Billing
The NRGkick Smart Service “OCPP” allows charging data to be sent for billing through ChargePoint protocols. Several charging network providers are already preconfigured in the NRGkick app and more are being added all the time.
How OCPP works
OCPP, the Open Charge Point Protocol, is an open communication protocol for electromobility. It regulates the exchange of data between electric vehicles and charging stations. OCPP enables the central control of charging stations by so-called charge point operators (i.e. charging network operators), the exchange of data during the charging process and the authorization of users. The openness of the communication standard promotes interoperability between different manufacturers of charging systems and facilitates the integration of charging stations into energy management systems.
Configuring OCPP in the NRGkick App.
Some providers are already configured in the NRGkick app (and more are coming). However, you also have the option of entering the necessary data yourself or integrating it with us. Your NRGkick is managed in a central management system and can be controlled together with other charging stations. This means that operators of charging networks can easily integrate, manage and support NRGkick.

Which providers are supported?
The following providers are already integrated:
OCPP in brief
Interoperability
Using OCPP, both NRGkick and wallboxes from other manufacturers can be centrally managed and controlled.
Own billing
The data collected is sent to the fleet manager, who takes care of billing.
Pure software solution
OCPP is a communication standard and therefore a pure software solution compatible with different hardware.
